USING THE FOREST
Currently Kenya Forest Service and Institute of Primate Research are the only organisations authorised to collect revenue from the forest. The CFA have applied for authority from KFS to manage and collect revenue from certain sections of the forest.
Currently, IPR have a manned gate where one can pay a fee to enter the forest off Karen rd. The wider forest can be accessed from the Forest Line road, between Embulbul & Gataka.

Once the CFA have permission to collect revenue & manage parts of the forest, this income will be used to fund the scout salaries & other forest projects.
